Fall in New Hampshire 2013

As many of you may know, my wife I have recently returned from a week long holiday in New Hampshire, Maine and Massachusetts in America. With thanks to the team at American Sky we created an eight night American road trip.

We flew British Airways from Heathrow (after sampling some wine and cocktails at the fabulous
Plane Food, Gordan Ramsey's place at Terminal 5) to Boston, Massachusetts. We spent three nights at The Langham in the city centre before collecting our Fiat 500 and heading North into Maine.

During a very wet drive towards our nights accommodation in Freeport, the Fall colour become increasingly more prominent. We enjoyed some retail therapy in the towns outlet, which is in essence the town itself. Check out the towns
website for details. After a night here we headed into the White Mountains to stay for three nights at the Merrill Farm Inn. The White Mountains were beautiful, and as you can see from the photographs, the Fall foliage was fantastic. This was a true landscape photographers paradise.

For our penultimate evening, we traveled south to Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire, staying at the
Inn at Mill Falls. The next morning we drove three hours back into the city for the final evening staying at The Loews before flying home. If you are planning a similar trip and would like some recommendations please drop me a note.

Here are a selection of my favourite images from our adventure...
