Pirelli Pro Rally - Silverstone Classic 2014
Under bright blue skies and a very hot sun, with incredibly loud Formula One cars over revving in the distance it was impossible to forget where I spent the weekend. The venue for this weekend's shoot was Silverstone, at the 2014 Silverstone Classic.
This is the 11th year I've worked with Pirelli Pro Rally photographing Matt Stephens and the team running motorsport events. The dusty rally stage works well and if the weather is kind, allows for some dramatic photography. I take a series of images of each passenger experiencing a rally ride, then my sales team endeavour to sell them their images.
It's vitally important that the passenger can be clearly seen, but the shot still needs to capture the excitement and drama of the ride! Here are a few of my favourite images from the weekend:
