Leeds Castle Triathlon 2014
2014 has been a year of attempting to get a little fitter... I'm just turning mid-thirties and thought it was time to do something energetic. In April I entered my first Triathlon. After 5 months of hard training and charity fund raising I completed the Sevenoaks Triathlon for the Alzheimer's Society. Shortly after, my wife and I ran the Cranbrook Tri and I've the Tunbridge Wells Tri to look forward to in 3 weeks at the time of writing.
When Sussex Sport Photography invited me to join them photographing the inaugural Leeds Castle Triathlon I jumped at the chance. The swim leg was 750m around and under the castle, followed by a 26km cycle and finished with a 5km run. As expected, the castle made for the most beautiful backdrop to the photographs, especially the cycling shots.
